Anne Hathaway raps about 'The Dark Knight Rises' paparazzi – video

Anne Hathaway, soon to be appearing in The Dark Knight Rises as Selina Kyle, has rapped about her experiences dealing with the paparazzi on a late night talk show. Appearing on Conan, the actress was persuaded to unleash her songwriting skills as a catharsis for the intense press scrutiny. She said:

With all the stuff that's going on with Batman, the paparazzi attention's been a little intense. So I actually wrote a rap song about it...It's in the style of Lil Wayne.

She then proceeds to rhyme about the less than favourable nature of the gutter press, even throwing in a little 'doggie style, butt slapping' mime for good measure. In the minute-long clip, which you can see below, the Oscar-nominated Batman star lets rip on her grievance of having cameras thrust into her crotch. When finished, she bursts into giggles and covers her face.

Hathaway was appearing on the show, hosted by Conan O'Brien, to promote One Day, the film based on the best-selling novel by David Nicholls.

One Day is due for release on August 24, while The Dark Knight Rises is out in the UK on July 20, 2012.
