Fans and celebrities have given a mixed reaction to the new X Factor judges following last night's (August 20) opening show.
Many praised N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos and Kelly Rowland but very few were impressed with Take That's Gary Barlow.
One fan wrote:
I like Gary Barlow in Take That, not as a judge on The X Factor.
Another added:
The dullest man in pop strikes again.
This comes after the singer pledged to bring credibility to the show.
Others were generally pleased with the new line-up that has replaced Simon Cowell,Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue.

Singer Emmy The Great even took to Twitter to praise the show as she posted:
Oh dear I'm hooked on X Factor again.
Despite generally positive comments about the new judges some thought the show wasn't the same without Cowell particularly England cricketer Keven Pietersen.
He wrote:
I can't watch The X Factor without Simon Cowell. He made the show. Who are you Tulisa?
