Zebedy Rays to play Club NME at London's KOKO this Friday

Zebedy Rays to play Club NME at London's KOKO this Friday

Zebedy Rays and Five Working Days are lined up to perform at this Friday's (Aug 5)Club NME KOKO in London.

The headline act are looking forward to playing the NME event, as it's something they've been hoping to take part of for quite some time. "We're mad excited about playing KOKObecause it's been on our to do list, so now we can tick it off," Zebedy Rays toldNME.COM ahead of the show.

"The venues we're playing now seem to be getting bigger and better, and the crowds have been going crazy over our live shows. We're pretty mental onstage, and we get told we're the best live band [people have] seen in years. It's our firstNME event - we love the mag and one day we'll be on that front cover, because we've spent the entire year touring up and down the UK and have got the major labels sniffing, wanting to sign us now. We had one guy from EMI last week that said we'll be as big as Radiohead. Bring on Club NME. We're going to tear the roof off!"

Next Friday (Aug 26), Caan will be headlining the London clubnight, while Yaaks will be performing the following Friday (Sep 2).
