Katy Perry has equalled Michael Jackson's record for US Number One singles on an album.

The singer has hit the summit of the Billboard charts with her fifth chart topper 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)', a feat not managed since Michael Jackson released five tracks from 'Bad' which hit the top spot between 1987-88. Perry is also the first female and only living artist to achieve such a milestone.
